| William Strauss Business Analyst Current and Future Projections "Capital decision making requires a confidence in forecasting the value of your investment 5, 10, or more years in the future." William Strauss jointed AMS in 2000 as an aircraft economics and data analysis consultant. Mr. Strauss brings over thirty years of data analysis and capital project decision making experience to the AMS Team. His experience ranges from analyzing aircraft component failures for the engineering department for a major airline company in the mid-1960s to analyzing cross-sectional time-series data for a financial consulting firm at the turn of the millennium. His early career as a field project leader for a consulting firm provided the foundation for his multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving. His leadership and decision making skills have led him to top management and key strategic planning positions throughout much of his career. He is the founder and CEO of FutureMetrics; a consultancy that specializes in developing business-specific statistical models for price and demand forecasting. Mr. Strauss is also a full professor at the New Hampshire College in Berlin, New Hampshire. Mr. Strauss has an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the Whittemore School at the University of New Hampshire. He is also ABD with a PhD in economics. The combination of real-world experience and an advanced understanding of economics and finance has provided Mr. Strauss with the expertise necessary to understand the complex micro and macroeconomics forces that drive aircraft supply and demand. >>Back |
